I received my first camera at age 18 and I never stopped taking pictures. Although I was taking picture
just for fun, my friends encouraged me to take my passion to a profession level. In 2004, I took a class in basic photography
at the Ashe campus of Wilkes Community Collegege. I started my business in Sally Mae's Emporium selling my matt photo,frames
photo, and greeting cards to the tourists that came to Ashe County. From 2004 to 2005, I exhibited and sold my wares
at Bohemia a local restaurant in downtown West Jefferson. In 2006, I shot my first wedding, the couple was please
with my work. I have further developed my skills as a photographer by continuing my education in the field. I have completed
classes in photography at Caldwell Community College-including photography I photography II and studo photography.
